Terms and Conditions – Urban Heating & Plumbing
 
1. Call-Out Charges & Cancellations
 
1.1. Once a call-out appointment has been booked, it is fully chargeable for the first hour unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
1.2. If the appointment is not cancelled within this timeframe, the full first-hour charge will apply, regardless of whether any work is carried out.
 
2. Boiler Deposits & Cancellations
 
2.1. Deposits paid for boiler installations or other major works are non-refundable if the job is cancelled.
2.2. This policy covers restocking fees, administrative costs, and potential lost bookings.
 
3. Payment Terms
 
3.1. Payment is due on the same day upon completion of works, unless a prior credit account has been opened and approved.
3.2. Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or card.
3.3. Late payments may be subject to interest charges and/or legal action if necessary.
 
4. Warranty & Liability
 
4.1. All work is carried out to the highest standard. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing system faults or unforeseen complications arising from aging or defective plumbing/heating systems.
4.2. Any warranties provided will be clearly stated on invoices.
 
5. General Terms
 
5.1. We reserve the right to refuse service or adjust pricing where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.2. Customers must ensure safe and clear access to the work area before our engineers arrive.
